While nursing, you can safely consume BODYARMOR as long as you also drink water.
If you want to stay hydrated, you shouldn’t just rely on sports drinks because your body needs water to grow your baby and deliver nutrients.
Things to Consider When Consuming BodyArmor SuperDrink During Pregnancy
I’m a little hesitant to drink BodyArmor SuperDrink while pregnant because of the following:
The BodyArmor SuperDrink contains 28g sugar (per 16oz. serving). That’s a boatload for a beverage.
The effects of secondhand sugar are real: “Sugar consumption during pregnancy may increase gestational weight gain and the development of pregnancy complications, such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and preterm birth.” ”1.
Even though the LYTE version doesn’t have any added sugar, it does have the sweeteners erythritol and stevia.
You should refrain from drinking anything with a lot of sugar, especially while pregnant.
In addition to taking a daily prenatal vitamin, I abstained from taking synthetic vitamins while I was pregnant. You need enough for both you and the baby’s development, but too much can be harmful. This is a delicate balance. Vitamins A, C, E, and B-complex, which are some of the most prevalent components in prenatal vitamins, are present in BodyArmor SuperDrink.
Many businesses use coconut water concentrate because it reduces the cost and facilitates the import of the good.

Drink: Coconut water

However, it’s important to note that coconut water can lower blood pressure, so you might want to talk to your doctor about it. To “prevent an overdose of sodium or potassium,” FirstCry Parenting additionally advised pregnant women to limit their consumption of coconut water to one serving daily. While it’s important to include coconut water in your diet, especially during the third trimester, moderation is key.
