Britney has been making preparations to live the life she desired with Sam ever since her father resigned as her conservator in the summer of 2021. After five years of dating, the couple became engaged in September of last year, and they intend to wed soon.
Days after her father requested to end the conservatorship, Spears and Asghari got engaged in September of the previous year. The singer had testified before the court that she wanted to wed Asghari but was forbidden from doing so while they were under the conservatorship. Spears joked in September that the proposal was “way overdue”.
