How to Use a Digital Pregnancy Test
Before using the test, click here to read the complete instructions for the digital pregnancy test. Next, take the test stick out of its packaging and remove the Overcap. Check the Display Screen for a steady clock symbol. Do not use unless the clock symbol is showing.
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT OPEN WRAPPER UNTIL READY TO USE. THIS DEVICE SELF-ACTIVATES WHEN THE WRAPPER IS OPENED. A STEADY CLOCK SYMBOL SHOULD BE VISIBLE ON THE DISPLAY SCREEN WHEN THE WRAPPER IS REMOVED. IF SO, THEN THE DEVICE IS READY FOR USE.
With the Result Window facing away from your body and the Absorbent Tip pointing downward, hold the test stick by the thumb grip. Only for 5 seconds, insert the absorbent tip into your urine stream.
Alternatively, collect urine in a clean, dry cup. Just for 5 seconds, immerse the entire Wide Absorbent Tip in urine.

How to Read Your Urine Pregnancy Test Result
Put the Overcap back on after the test stick has been in contact with the urine for 5 seconds with the Absorbent Tip pointing downward. Stick should be positioned with the Result Window facing up on a flat, dry surface.
After applying urine, the clock symbol will start blinking after about 30 seconds. This means the test is working.
On the display screen, an unmistakable “YES” or “NO-” appears after approximately 3 minutes. An error has occurred if a “?” or blank screen appear. Repeat the test using a different FIRST RESPONSETM Digital Pregnancy Test while meticulously adhering to all guidelines.
“YES+” shows on the Display Screen. This indicates that a pregnancy hormone (hCG) test found the hormone in your urine.
Please see your healthcare professional to confirm this result.
“NO-” shows on the Display Screen. This indicates that hCG, the pregnancy hormone, was not found in your urine at this time.
WARNING: You might not be pregnant, but it’s still too early to say for sure. For instance, the pregnancy hormone may not be present in sufficient amounts in your urine to be detected. You should retest with another FIRST RESPONSETM Digital Pregnancy Test if you don’t start your period within 7 days. Call your healthcare provider if you receive a second Not Pregnant result and your period has not yet begun.
