Participants in this secondary analysis were divided into three groups: primigravids, those who had experienced one or more SABs, and those who had experienced one or more IABs. Women with a history of both spontaneous and induced abortions, molar pregnancies, or ectopic pregnancies were excluded. Analysis of outcomes was done based on whether there had been one prior abortion or more.
