Now the fetus is sized from the top of its head to the bottom of its buttocks. This is called crown-rump length (CRL).
How Is Your Baby Developing This Month?
Your child’s intestines and musculature system are developing on the inside. Although some bones may begin to harden, the backbone is still soft. At three months pregnant, your baby’s hands and feet are developing small fingers and toes that may even have the beginnings of fingernails and toenails. Your unborn child’s external genitalia will begin to form at some point this month, and soon you’ll be able to tell if you’re having a boy or a girl!
